Dasfair LLC, doing business as Rydezi (“Rydezi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Rydezi Driver mobile application (the “App”). Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described herein.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you register for and use the Rydezi Driver App:

  • Phone Number: Used to create and verify your account and to facilitate communication between drivers and passengers.
  • GPS Location: We collect precise, real-time GPS location data while the App is in use in order to match drivers with riders, provide navigation, calculate trip routes, and ensure safety.
  • Device Token: A unique identifier assigned to your device, used to send push notifications regarding ride requests, trip updates, and account alerts.
  • Trip History: Records of completed trips including pickup and drop-off locations, timestamps, fare details, and ride duration.

We may also collect certain technical data automatically, including device type, operating system version, app version, and crash/diagnostic data, to help us improve App performance and stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create, maintain, and authenticate your driver account
  • To match drivers with ride requests and provide real-time navigation
  • To process payments and maintain accurate earnings records
  • To send push notifications about ride requests, updates, and platform announcements
  • To monitor and improve safety, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

The Rydezi Driver App integrates with the following third-party services to deliver core functionality. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): We use Firebase to deliver push notifications to your device via your device token. Firebase may collect diagnostic and usage data. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
  • Google Maps: We use the Google Maps platform to provide in-app navigation, route planning, and location-based services. Google may collect location and usage data in accordance with its privacy policies. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments and manage earnings disbursements. Stripe may collect financial and identity information necessary to facilitate payments. See Stripe Privacy Policy.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party providers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

Rydezi does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is used solely to operate and improve the Rydezi platform and to provide the services you have requested.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors (such as those listed above) who assist us in operating the App, provided they agree to keep your information confidential.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Rydezi, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Trip history and account data may be retained for a period of up to seven (7) years in accordance with applicable business and legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@rydezi.com.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations
  • Opt out of certain data processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

10. Children's Privacy

The Rydezi Driver App is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

11. Location Data

The App requires access to your device's location services in order to function properly. Location data is collected while you are actively using the App or when the App is running in the background during an active trip. You may disable location permissions through your device settings, but doing so will prevent you from using core features of the App. We do not track your location when you are not logged into the App or when a trip is not in progress, except as needed for safety or fraud prevention purposes.

12. Push Notifications

We use your device token to send push notifications about ride requests, trip status updates, earnings, and platform announcements. You can manage notification preferences through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications may affect your ability to receive timely ride alerts.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
