Your Right to Delete Your Data
At Rydezi, we respect your right to control your personal information. If you would like to permanently delete your Rydezi Driver account and all associated personal data, you can submit a request using either of the methods described below. All verified deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon completion of your deletion request, we will permanently remove the following data associated with your account:
- Account Information: Your driver profile, name, and account credentials
- Phone Number: Your registered mobile phone number
- Location History: All GPS and location data collected during your use of the App
- Trip History: Records of all completed trips, including pickup/drop-off locations, timestamps, and fare details
- Device Token: The push notification token associated with your device
Please note that we may retain certain information where required by law, for fraud prevention, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our Terms of Service. Any retained data will be held only for as long as legally required and will not be used for marketing purposes.
How to Request Account Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to support@rydezi.com with the following details:
- Subject: Delete My Account Request
- Your full name as registered in the App
- Your phone number associated with your account
- A brief statement confirming you wish to permanently delete your account and data
Once we receive your email, we will verify your identity and confirm the request before proceeding with deletion.
Option 2: In-App Request
If the option is available in your version of the Rydezi Driver app, you can submit a deletion request directly from within the app:
- Open the Rydezi Driver app
- Go to Profile or Account Settings
- Select Delete My Account
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request
What Happens After You Submit a Request
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days
- We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the deletion
- Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of identity verification
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
- After deletion, your account cannot be recovered
